| Another fake 10 kop 1856 - this time with some kind of strange blue cancellation. No full stop after right '10' should be sufficient characteristic. |

Bjørn Hinnerichsen (07-02-2010) It was impossible to upload a picture (I tried twice!), so please click on the item number and follow the link. Seller has been informed.

rainer sjöholm (14-05-2010) I have noticed that some of the companies doing stamp auction business, have excluded the possibility to download pictures. Maybe this tells something about the level of their business? By the way, about the stamp above, the vertical lines just to the right of the sword confirm the judgement above. Rainer
JuhaT (15-05-2010) In Firefox a workaround to download pictures goes like this. I think the same procedure works in other browsers as well.
1) Right click the page showing the pic 2) Pick 'show source code for the page' (sorry - I'm using Finnish version, so exact words are unavailable) 3) In source code search for 'http://...something.jpg' 4) Copy text 'http://...something.jpg' and test it by opening it in a new browser window. 5) If 'http://...something.jpg' is ok (not a mini pic) you can now copy it. 6) If 'http://...something.jpg' is a mini pic search for another 'http://...something.jpg' in the source. Test it as before. Most likely this one is a bigger scan. If not, search again.
Sometimes the seller has used only small scans and then there is nothing to be done about it (except asking for a better scan).
